I like very much Donna Hay's books and her TV programs. She's very practical in her cooking, specially in this book,great secrets to do things as the title says : fast, fresh an simple!
I originally bought this book for my daughter who lives in Sydney (coals to Newcastle!)because books are so expensive in Australia, but once I had looked through it I had to keep it! Now it's full of page markers. The photography is beautiful and the recipes are very clear. The key is in the title and I echo the philosophy of "fast, fresh, simple". I love Donna's take on Salad Nicoise and Steak and Three Veg. I haven't dared start on the puddings yet - they all look so more-ish! My daughter was thrilled to receive her copy -she's at the bedtime reading stage and heading for the tomato goat's cheese tart to start with.
I love this book. It's exactly what it says. A small number of ingredients used in an exciting, fresh and modern way.
