The book is perfectly fine. It’s my favorite Dr. Seuss book from childhood. This one was a gift. Comparing the new book and my original from the late 70’s/early 80’s they just aren’t the same. The stock used for the cover is now waxy feeling. The pages are also on different stock, but it reads the same! It’s just a fun book and the new look is fine. It’s just different than my original.
Passing on a tradition to my baby's baby. My baby could quote this verbatim. HAD to buy a copy each for us, the Grand parents and for her. This was a Favorite book that her dad and I would read to her.
